If you are a worker

  1. RegisterEnter your trade, years of experience, mobile number and the PIN code where you can work.
  2. Take the skill testTen questions for your trade. Your score and experience set your daily rate.
  3. Send your documentsRight after the test: PAN, the last four digits of your Aadhaar and a proof of experience.
  4. Choose when you can workAfter ShiftMitra verifies you, pick your shift (for example 12-hour Day 8 AM to 8 PM, or 8-hour 7 AM to 3 PM) and the days you can work.

If you run a factory

  1. Register your companyShiftMitra approves your account before you can search.
  2. Find workersEnter trade, dates and your site PIN code. See how many verified workers are free near you each day, and the daily rate.
  3. Pay to bookWe hold the workers for 10 minutes while you pay. Payment is in test mode for now.
  4. Get your confirmationExact shift times and the workers' names appear once you have booked.

What we check before a worker can be booked

Skill
Every worker takes a 10-question test for their trade. The score, together with experience, sets the daily rate.
Identity
A ShiftMitra admin reviews the PAN and masked Aadhaar documents by hand. We never ask for a full Aadhaar number.
Experience
Workers declare their years of experience, and it is confirmed against proof before approval.
Availability
Workers tell us which days and shift types they can work. Companies see only how many are free in their area, and a shift cannot be booked twice.
